Back Story Of This Irving, TX Kitchen

Our wonderful clients, Julie and Henry had reached out to Beeworx Cabinets to see what options they had to upgrade their kitchen cabinets. The cabinets they had were the original cabinets from when the house was built in the 60s. Not only were the cabinets really old and out of style, but they had also been painted several times over and over...DIY style. Needless to say, they needed any upgrade! There are several things to think about when designing your new kitchen cabinets. Here are (3) questions to ask yourself:

  1. What is your goal for your kitchen remodel? (Maximizing storage space, Kitchen organization, Functional Use)
  2. Do you have a specific look or style are you going for? (Such as Modern, Simplistic, Timeless, Luxury, Farmhouse)
  3. How does your typical day unfold in your kitchen?

Our clients shared these answers with us! Julie informed us that she loves to bake pastries and cook delicious homemade meals. Her goal was to maximize as much space as we could in her kitchen and make it functional. She shared her kitchen inspiration from Pinterest which consisted of white and black minimalistic aesthetics. Together, we designed the kitchen she envisioned and walked through the (4) talking points we will share with you in this blog!

Smart Cabinet Configurations to Maximize Storage Space

A well-designed kitchen isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about functionality. One of the key elements that contribute to a functional kitchen is the configuration of your cabinets.  Whether you're an aspiring chef, a busy parent, or an organization enthusiast, there's a cabinet setup that's perfect for you. By customizing your kitchen cabinets, you can unlock the full potential of your space and enjoy a more efficient and pleasant experience in your new kitchen. This starts by defining the current pain points you experience when you're in your kitchen. This could be any of the following (not limited to):

  • Baking trays falling over when shuffling through your cabinets
  • Unable to reach items that's tucked away in the back of the cabinets
  • Spices and Oils that are unreachable
  • Bending down to get your pots and pans
  • Your pet(s) getting into your trash bins

The list can go on and on ,however there's good news! There's cabinet solutions for each of these challenges that's truly transformational. There are premier pull-out accessories that you can add to any designated cabinet. We highly recommend in investing in high-quality accessories because these items will be used on a daily basis and you want it to last over time! Your best bet is to locate a local cabinet shop. Utilize Your Drawer Space for Organization Opportunities

Another way to maximize your cabinet storage is to keep your drawers organized. There are organizers that you can add inside your drawers to have designated spots for your kitchen supplies such as utensils, Keurig cups and lids for your pots and pans. Investing in these organizers will maximize the space by keeping items neatly separated and preventing wasted or unused space. This makes it easier to locate and access items, reducing the time spent searching for what you need. These are our top favorite kitchen drawer organizers:
